Gardening Club

New Gardening Club Launches in Nocton
on 18th September at 7pm

If you are interested in sharing ideas, plants and your own experiences of growing plants, fruit or vegetables and..
If you are interested in learning and being inspired by other gardeners then...

This is the club for you
  • We plan to meet up most months (avoiding the coldest, darkest and hottest ones).
  • We want to be informal (i.e. no committee or minutes taken) and yet make our sessions worthwhile and productive.
We want you to join us on 18th to see if you will like having a Gardening Club and to find out more about what it might offer you.

Nina McBeath runs a gardening club in Welbourn and has kindly agreed to join us at this event. She will provide pointers, tips and hints on getting the best out of this opportunity as well as a list of guest speakers who have inspired Welbourn Gardeners over the years.

About a dozen of us will come prepared to “show and tell” something about our gardening successes or failures and you are most welcome to do the same.

Sue Feary manages the most fabulous meeting and leisure facilities for MAC Ltd here in Nocton and we have arranged to hold at least our first open meeting there. We need to cover the cost of room hire by splitting it up between those who attend but it won't cost us more than a couple of pounds each and we might even get a cuppa and a biscuit too.

How to find the meeting
Take the turning off Main Street signposted into the MAC/Beeswax/Winchester Growers Business Park.
Carry on down that lane until you pass under a barrier (never closed)
Over the small speed bump and to your left is the car park to the Leisure Complex (large Green metal building)
Come along inside where someone will greet you and take you upstairs to the meeting room
