Lincs2Advice

Access to Advice in One Place

The following announcement was received via the Neighbourhood Alert System on Thursday 17th July:

"Thanks to Big Lottery funding, Lincolnshire residents can now access advice, information and support agencies from across the County in one place from a new service called Lincs2Advice.

The free, impartial and confidential service, which can be accessed by telephone or website, will help residents to find the best placed advice provider quickly and easily and can assist with a diverse range of issues from health and care through to money and work.
More than 200 organisations from across the County including Citizens Advice Bureau, Age UK and Lincolnshire Credit Union are working together in partnership to support people looking for help. By sharing information, residents can find out who can help them in one place rather than going round the houses and the service can assist with everything from debt and benefits through to volunteering and health support.

To access the service, just telephone the Lincs2Advice team of specially trained coordinators on 0844 257 0042 or go to the website www.lincs2advice.org.uk

Lincs2Advice also offers a free ‘Helping you Manage your Money’ service for individuals across the County. The service which is open to every one, will help identify areas where money could be saved such as energy and debt payments, tips on coping on tight budgets, saving ideas and advice on what bills should be paid as a priority. Telephone the Lincs2Advice team to make an appointment to see an advisor in your local area."
