Anti-social Behaviour

Be Alert

Over the weekend of Friday 11th – Sunday 13th July 2014 a number of incidents occurred in Nocton village. These have subsequently been reported our local Neighbourhood Watch Coordinator, but were not reported to Lincolnshire Police at the time using telephone no: 101.

Incidents
  1. Over the night of Friday 11/Saturday 12th early hours several vehicles were heard traveling at high speeds through the village causing disturbance. No registration numbers were recorded and no descriptions taken of vehicles.
  2. The warning marker posts were removed from the beck side of Main Road Nocton, pulled from their securing posts, and thrown into the beck. No details were recorded of those responsible. The marker posts have been recovered from the beck and reinstated.
  3. Suspected prowlers disturbed residents dogs in the Steamer Point Road and Wegberg Road area of Nocton Park over the weekend during the early hours. No further information is available.
Please remember that our local officers need as much detail from you as possible, including types of vehicle, colour and most importantly registration numbers if you can get them.

You may not think an incident like this is significant but it may be the piece of the jigsaw that our local officers are looking for. Don't be shy in ringing 101, they really do want to know what's going on.

All information has since been passed to our neighbourhood police team.

Please stay alert and help keep Nocton the safe place we want it to remain.
